The Hunger Games
You know I can never resist a book post ! I wanted to share with you a good book I've been reading this week : The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I simple can't stop reading. I really didn't expect to like it and it's always how it works : I end up loving it. It's such a thought-provoking story. It can be creepy and disturbing but I have the feeling it always remains intelligent and in control. I haven't finished it yet, though. I don't know how it'll end and where the second book is heading but so far, it's always very surprising and so entertaining.
My copy is the young-adult version I suppose. It's not as good as this one. I love how they decided to put a quote by Stephenie Meyer in big letters on my cover. You know I love Twilight and everything but honestly I don't think it's the best way to promote the book ! I thought it was amusing. They don't realise the amount of people who wouldn't read a book just because Stephenie Meyer likes it.
The woman sitting next to me on the train today was reading it ! So strange. It hasn't been promoted in France so far.
