Christmas card
I hope those of you who celebrate christmas had a nice one. We had three days full of visiting or welcoming family at home. I managed not to eat too much which is definitely an improvement. It was so nice to finally see my sisters' and parents' faces when they opened their presents. My christmas shopping started back in November and I was pretty happy with myself. As for me, they really spoiled me. I felt really lucky.
Today I got Gaëlle (chicafrancesa00 )'s beautiful christmas card. It really made my day. Thank you so much ! I love it. Also, I might be crazy (this proves I am) but I thought that the stamp might be a reference to Bella Swan? Or maybe it didn't cross your mind at all ? Anyway, it made me laugh near the mail box. Thank you again Gaëlle.
More generally, this last week, I've been :
- sick. Again. I am so mad to be sick again. I'm always sick.
- reading Jacob's Room (which I think will be my last book of 2009).
- listening to my last musical discovery, the British band Mumford and Sons. I really love White Blank Page and Dust Bowl Dance right now.
- playing with my new phone (an LG GT500 if that means anything to you - I don't know anything about phones myself) which happens to be surprisingly fascinating. I resisted my impulse to spend my money on an IPhone. I woke up at 7am this morning and checked Livejournal, Flickr, Twitter, read about Jacob's Room and Orlando on Wikipedia ... in my bed !! It's very amusing.
