-- I spent a week away visiting my family in Portugal. I just got back yesterday. I didn't even write about it here but that's the reason why I haven't been commenting these last few days ! It was really nice - hot and sunny - it involved lots of delicious food and I got to see my little cousin who's all grown up now. I'm happy to be back, though !
-- I'm so excited about this upcoming week for 3 main reasons : True Blood (the last episode, that's so sad), Gossip Girl and The Office. This is too much for me to bear. It makes me realize how fast this summer went. I didn't see it go.
-- I read 5 books while I was away and all were very enjoyable : Decline and Fall by Evelyn Waugh (you can't be wrong with Evelyn Waugh), A Rebours by J.-K. Huysmans (I really enjoyed the beautiful writing), The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton (finally !), Hedda Gabler by Ibsen (so good ! - I read about it in Susan Sontag's diaries) and finally, I re-read The Catcher in the Rye (don't get me started on how much I love J-D Salinger !).
I started Franny and Zooey again yesterday ! I'm in the mood now.
