I'm that shallow, part 354
I've been following the Cannes Film Festival because 1) you can't really miss it when you live in France and 2) I'm ridiculously shallow and love awards ceremonies in general. I was really excited about Inglorious Basterds coming to Cannes in particular and I'm not even a Tarantino fan but I think he's kind of awesome and I want this film to be good.
I'm not really a fan of Jane Campion but Bright Star sounds great. I haven't heard of it before Cannes to be honest. I thought Abbie Cornish and Ben Whishaw were so cute and charming !

I'm excited about anything related to Emile Hirsch anyway. I think it's better if I don't talk about he having dinner with Rob yesterday.
As I said, I'm really excited about Inglorious Basterds. First, WWII is the part of our history that interests me the most. Secondly, I think Quentin Tarantino can do no harm. Finally, Daniel Brühl, Michael Fassbender, BJ Novak and Brad Pitt are involved.
You knew that was coming : Robert Pattinson was (is) there too. And he even attended the Inglorious Basterds premiere tonight.
