I've been following the Cannes Film Festival because 1) you can't really miss it when you live in France and 2) I'm ridiculously shallow and love awards ceremonies in general. I was really excited about Inglorious Basterds coming to Cannes in particular and I'm not even a Tarantino fan but I think he's kind of awesome and I want this film to be good.
I'm not really a fan of Jane Campion but
Bright Star sounds great. I haven't heard of it before Cannes to be honest. I thought Abbie Cornish and Ben Whishaw were so cute and charming !

Abbie Cornish.com Two words : Emile Hirsch.
I'm excited about anything related to Emile Hirsch anyway.
I think it's better if I don't talk about he having dinner with Rob yesterday.
As I said, I'm really excited about Inglorious Basterds. First, WWII is the part of our history that interests me the most. Secondly, I think Quentin Tarantino can do no harm. Finally, Daniel Brühl, Michael Fassbender, BJ Novak and Brad Pitt are involved.
You knew that was coming : Robert Pattinson was (is) there too. And he even attended the Inglorious Basterds premiere tonight.
