On Monday night, I met up with my friend Mathilde to go to the
Grand Palais exhibition entitled
Picasso and the masters. It was really cold and rainy and we queued for a long time but it was nice to finally see what everyone has been talking about since last September. I do like Picasso and ackowledge his great talent but I'm not a huge fan either and to be honest, I mostly enjoyed seeing the masters's paintings rather than its own. Maybe this exhibition will be more fascinating for his fans.
Le Grand Palais always organises the greatest exhibitions, though. I learnt a lot about him and about his time in general.
Les Champs Elysées. There were so many people ! It was great to be there with all the Christmas decorations.

I'm still not used to taking the train on my own at night, though. I know it's stupid but I can't help it. It was great to spend time with Mathilde. She was in Versailles with us last year but now, she's studying to become a journalist in Paris. I miss her.
Apparently, Nicold Kidman and her husband were there the following day !!
