I've been procrastinating a lot lately. I've finished
La Peau de Chagrin by Balzac and
The Reader by Bernhard Schlink. I was so disappointed with the last one ! I read about a film adaption being currently filmed with Kate Winslet and by Stephen Daldry and I really, really liked what I read about the book itself on Wikipedia but in the end I thought there was nothing original about it and it bored me. In my opinion, the only interesting thing is the whole Shoah part. Such a shame. The Balzac one was brillant. I'm always surprised because I think it's going to be a bit boring to read and it actually is quite addicting. It reminded me of The Picture of Dorian Gray.
I've drawn a bit this morning. I used to draw all the time but I can't anymore today. Anyway. It is relaxing. Under the cute because I'm not proud.
We were in Aix-les-bains a few days ago which is near Lyon and Geneva. It was very nice. (I don't know why I like these flag pictures that much.
We went shopping to Paris yesterday. It's getting really cold! I wanted to say this and now I realize you're going to smile when you'll what's under the cut.
You must think : why does she show us her new clothes all the time now ? I know. The truth is I enjoy taking pictures.
I obviously needed to buy some books too. I'm especially excited about Les Gommes.
Alain Robbe-Grillet died a few weeks back.
