as a college student, i often get asked what i am majoring in and what i want to do with the rest of my existence (as if one's life progress can be determined by this). not only do i fail to accept that i will graduate one day, i fail to understand why what i have to say at this given moment has any merit. what i think i am going to do is most likely not what i am going to do nor will what i want to do happen any more because i said so. therefore, defining myself by major and career path is ultimately irrelevant. i'd rather accept that this is a period of uncertainty and celebrate that fact. skip the bullshit.
