So one of the weirder curses has passed, and things are more or less back to normal. I met some people from home and some... interesting people, and I think I came out the better for it, all things considered. I'm in less of a hurry to go home now - but I still want to.

She shakes her head a little, puzzled as to what he means - but oh, there's the look. It makes her blanche a little - maybe this wasn't such a good idea. True, she wanted to make peace, but maybe beginning it by showing this much skin in front of her former enemy was a little... awkward.
To cover her embarassment, she answered flippantly.]
