[Here, let's make it more awkward! :D

Admittedly the library was not a place Rokuta often ventured into, but every so often he would. Partly from boredom and partly to retrieve new books for Keiki because it drove him nuts that the guy would read the same one over and over again. This time he's happy to spot Rin, but her behavior causes him to not call out to her. Instead he does what he does best and stalks follows her in secret.

And when she finally settles down to read whatever it is she's desperately trying to hide, he comes up behind her soundlessly and peers over her shoulder. A moment of silence and then in the most casual tone ever,]

I'm told the only real way to figure it out is to just do it.

[Rin first jumps at the voice suddenly coming from behind her - so close, too! - letting out a little scream, and then nearly falls out of her seat while trying to cover up the incriminating evidence. She is blushing furiously, too. Then she turns around to him, giving him a sort of embarassed glare.]

U-uh, Rokuta! H-hello, ahh...

[He laughs loudly at her reaction, earning him a glare from someone near by trying to read in silence. He perches on the arm of her chair, crossing his arms over his chest and grinning cheekily.]

[Meanwhile, she's still busy trying to gather the books in her arms and covering them with her wide sleeves.]

Trying to read, and I'd like to do so in quiet!

Go for it, I won't say anything. Pretend I'm not even here.

[Says the kirin perched right on your chair staring right at you. Who doesn't really seem inclined to move, either.]

Do forgive my rudeness, but... [here, have another sharp glare] why do you insist on staying?

[Oh man, she has the same evil eye as Youko. He just pouts in reply.]

I'm bored. There's no one around.

[Siiigh.]

I'm sure someone can be found. Who isn't trying to read in peace.

[He grins and points to the books she's trying to hide.]

Reading your dirty books where no one can see them, huh? Lemme have one, I'll give it to Keiki and the look on his face will be priceless.

[His words make her blush furiously. Again.]

T-they aren't dirty. Besides... that's kinda mean to Keiki-san.

[Oh he's having fun with this. He laughs again, earning another glare from the same person.]

Yeah, yeah. It's "educational", right? What're you looking it up for anyway? I'd think by now you'd know how that stuff works.

[He rolls his eyes at her last comment.] It's either that or I make him spend a day with Shouryuu. That'd scar him for life.

[And another one from Rin, too! Then she looks at her toes, flustered.] You're being a little intrusive here, you know.

[That last sentence earns him another sour look.] Does it have to be one of these?

[Innocently,] Oh? Am I? I guess you don't have to tell me. [But he's gonna just make his own assumptions and that is probably worse.]

[He eyes her book pile.] Well, considering it looks like you took just about every book from that particular section... yes.

[revengeisalie]

[Sputter"] Yes, you are!

[But she gets herself back in check and now speaks clearly, with a slightly exaggerated air.]

I meant, do you have to either give him one of these books or subject him to Shouryuu-san?

[kirinofen]

[He shrugs indifferently.] I could do both?

[It's hard to tell if he's kidding or not.]

How about neither? [Looking ever-so-slightly exasperated here.]
