PART THREE

Bob sometimes wishes he was Japanese, and not because then his interest in Asian women wouldn't be considered so creepy (excuse his poor sense of humor). But Japan is just... Japan. And being there makes him feel like he's in another world and that he really is alive. Being here with Frank also adds to the experience; for once Bob isn't afraid at all to hold the other man's hand or hug him or kiss him. He feels completely comfortable for the first time.

Frank wants to hop, skip, and jump, the whole shebang because, well, he's with Bob and they're in Japan and no one even notices. They mesh with everything else, the lights don't draw them out and the people don't usually treat them any different. It's an amazing feeling and it only feels better when Bob's around.

They're walking past these girls with crazy makeup and bright extensions and Frank would bet they've gotten eight times the attention Bob and Frank have. Frank grins at them and waves, laughing as he presses against Bob's shoulder.

Bob watches Frank interact with an amused little smile; Frank seems completely in his element right now and just seeing him smile like that makes Bob's heart want to explode. Frank has one of the contagious grins that even when Bob is pissed or angry or stressed, just seeing it makes him relax and laugh. He turns his head and kisses Frank's temple.

Frank grins, if possible, even more wide and squeezes Bob's hand. He feels eternal right now, or something. He can't stop looking at Bob and wanting to touch him anywhere. Like, now for instance, he picks imaginary lint off Bob's chest and hopes Bob gets the message. They pass all these little kiosks and Frank buys a feather boa just because he's feeling devious. He wraps it around Bob's neck and pulls him close, kissing him playfully and it reminds him of spices and celebration. A few girls laugh in good humor and Bob grins sheepishly.

"You're too adorable, baby," Frank coos, throwing an end of the purple boa behind Bob.

With that being said, Bob rolls his eyes, cheeks pink and smile playing on his lips. "Who am I? Jeffree Star?" he asks teasingly, looking down the purple feathers around his neck before he unravels part of it, wrapping it around Frank's so they are pulled together. Bob's mind flashes to handcuffs and such, but only in an innocent sense. He thinks of him and Frank being sewn together, though they already practically are.

Frank could collapse right now from how much love he's feeling and it's so fucking incredible because almost no one knows that Bob acts like this. Frank should feel privileged, but he's not into that. He feels love and that's enough for him.

"Hey, Bob, look at me." He's got nothing to show, really, so he kisses Bob instead. Just a sweet kiss on the corner of his mouth. Frank feels punch-drunk or love-drunk or something and it's indescribable and he can never even remember feeling like this dating Jamia - not that he's worried about it, really.

This feeling almost makes Bob feel sick to his stomach; he's got butterflies and his heart is going a mile a minute. Frank kills him with every touch and kiss and breath that comes from his mouth.

"Why would I want to look at you?" Bob asks teasingly, but tries to keep a straight face, scrunching his nose up at the other man. Still, he leans in and pecks his lips.

"Because I'm sex-ay?" Frank quips, not skipping a beat. And they work like that, all the teasing and joking. He lifts Bob's arm and puts it over his shoulder, like they're on a first date or something and it kinda hits Frank that this actually is a first date, what with all the touring and settling Bob into the band. Frank sighs and snuggles into Bob, slipping his hand into his boyfriend's back pocket because he's sneaky, even though he isn't.

Bob just shakes his head with a smile, lightly drumming his fingers along Frank's shoulder as they walk. "I'm sexier, Frankie doodle, sorry to say." His eyes ghost from person to person, to every little street shop they pass. One place in particular catches Bob's eye and he slows down purposely, looking over the table cluttered with every piece of jewelry imaginable. "Hey woman, this is your kind of place," he jokingly says to Frank, tugging on a piece of his hair.

"Damn straight, not that you'd know much about being straight," Frank replies, browsing the jewelry with a smirk. He kinda thinks on it though, a little. Bob's gay, yeah, but he isn't flamboyant. If you didn't know him personally, you wouldn't even be able to tell. Frank then chastises himself because since when do people have to act a certain way if they're gay?

“Hey, I am the best straight impersonator ever, buddy,” Bob defends with a smile, picking up a pair of gaudy women's earrings and holding them against Frank's ears. They don't look half bad, actually. But then again, Bob knows Frank looks good in everything and best in nothing at all. He laughs softly to himself before he sets them down, continuing to browse.

"No kidding," Frank says, bumping Bob's hip to get him out of the way, in a totally caring manner, of course. He picks out a lip ring and there’s nothing really astounding about it, but it just makes him consider how Bob would look with one. Sexy, no doubt.

Bob's leaning over a display of chunky, neon bracelets and Frank runs his hands up his back, under his t-shirt. His skin is amazing, really. It's not perfect, which only adds to its appeal, and it's sticky from sweating onstage an hour and a half ago. A shirtless sweaty Bob is a beautiful thing, not that anyone except Frank knows. He removes his hands and holds onto Bob's hips as he passes by, brushing his crotch against the drummer's ass and he feels bold. He almost feels bad because Bob's probably embarrassed and he’s going a little over the line in front of all these people, but hey, at least he's not ripping Bob's clothes from his body (not that he doesn't want to, let's be honest).

Yes, Bob's embarrassed, but he's not going to complain. He's never gotten attention like this before, and especially not this much of it. Frank makes him feel wanted and needed and good about himself like he's never felt before. And it makes him feel loved, but sometimes he wonders if he should feel that way.

Bob sighs softly, it's a happy sigh though, as he glances over at Frank, just watching him look through various pieces. Bob loves how he hums to himself and sucks on his lip when he's concentrating. In fact, Bob has yet to find something he doesn't love about Frank.

Frank doesn't browse for too long because he really just wants to be alone with Bob now, the nightlife starting to lose its appeal. He picks out some fresh new gauges - size zero. He gets two lips rings, one of which he loses five minutes after leaving the vendor. Before they do go, Frank notices a necklace and he can't help but think of anything other than Bob. Usually, he wouldn't aspire to give another man jewelry, but c'mon this? This is perfect.

"Bob, what do you think of this?"

Bob looks over and automatically his eyes widen. "Oh... oh wow. That's awesome," he says with a nod, leaning over Frank's shoulder to get a better look. "Yeah, that's amazing," he smiles, resting his cheek against the side of Frank's head.

Frank's heart kind of leaps a little because Bob's really enthusiastic about it and Frank definitely did something right. He pulls the necklace off the shelf and holds it out in his palm. It's a heart, a silver one attached to silver links. It goes well with Bob, Frank thinks and he wishes that his second dog tag said Bob Bryar on it.

"What does this mean?" Frank asks the vendor about the inscription on the heart. It's in those Japanese letters and Frank has no fucking clue what they mean.

"Oh! It says 'koi to seki to wa kakusarenu'. In English, that means 'love conquers all'."

Frank looks at Bob, and yeah, love really does conquer all. He smiles and takes Bob's hand and gives the woman the necklace and his other purchases.

Bob blinks, looking from Frank to the necklace. "What are you doing?" he asks softly as he sees Frank hand the woman his money. It's obvious that he's buying it, but why? Yeah, Bob loves it, but c'mon...

Frank doesn't respond, not yet. He gets his change back and shoves it in his pockets to rattle around with his lighter. Bob, Bob, Bob. He asks obvious questions too much; Frank can't complain much, 'cause they usually just give Frank a reason to compliment Bob - not that he needs one. He takes Bob's hand and leads him away from all the activity because those people are suffocating the moment.

He fishes through his bag and closes his fingers on his present for Bob and it almost feels like he just wrapped his hard around something monumental. He almost chokes up because he knows that he's gonna tell Bob and its making his head fell a little light and disrupted.

Watching Frank silently, Bob kind of wonders what's going on. His smiles has faded into a curious, confused look as he leans against the wall of some building, away from the main flow of traffic. "Frank?" he asks softly, tilting his head and placing a hand on the other man's arm.

"Hmm?" Frank looks up and shakes off the disoriented feeling. He smiles and presses his body against Bob and hugs him for a moment. Bob's warmth envelops him and God, he's never felt this good before. He feels static and dynamic because he's changing for this man but really, he hasn't done anything different. There's this glow from Bob's eyes when he, Frank, pulls back but that really isn't the right adjective. Maybe it's just Bob's face in general that has this look to it, but Frank's amazed and drawn in and he's totally sold. Frank hooks the necklaces and loops his arms around Bob's neck.

"Because I love you."

And it is in that moment that Bob realizes every fears he's had about his relationship with Frank has been pointless. He is loved, and fucking hell does he love Frank in return. For a long moment, though, Bob just stares at Frank, blinking rapidly, trying to let it settle in. "Oh..." he says dumbly, smiling sheepishly, slowly. "I - I love you too."

Frank grins and it’s this huge ass smile that'll take over the world, basically. He almost can't breathe because this is it. This is everything and fuck if it sounds lame as hell, Frank’s in love and he's loved and it's Bob. And Frank takes a deep breath and basks in the glow of this moment. He touches Bob's necklace fondly and looks back up at him. Time slows down, or so it seems, and Frank can almost tastes Bob's mouth but they haven't quite connected.

"Love," Frank whispers, breath floating over Bob's slightly open mouth.

"I love you," Bob repeats. And he wants to say it over and over, a billion times, but his voice doesn't want to work right now. So instead, closes the gap between his and Frank's mouth, pressing their lips together and kissing him with every ounce of love he has in his body.

Frank lets his eyes close and he is genuinely happy. So fucking happy, so fucking in love. He holds Bob's cheeks and strokes his beard with his thumbs, almost crying in happiness. His lips melt against Bob's and why the hell is his mouth so perfect? Bob's arms are wound around Frank's waist and their hips are bumping and Frank's shirt is riding up a little between their bodies. He wants to fall - he feels weightless and this is perfect.

Bob's stomach feels like it's hitting all the bumps in the road, but this thing is, is that it feels pleasant because to him, this is how love feels. It doesn't get better and he barely wants to open his mouth because a closed mouth kiss is just too romantic about now. His fingers touch the base of Frank's spine and his skin is so warm.

Bob pulls back after what feels like a lifetime, his face flushed from lack of breath but that's the least of his concerns right now. He grins widely down at Frank, pulling him as close as he possibly can and yeah, this is right. Glancing down at the necklace, he picks it up with two of his fingers, tracing of the lettering and it is in that one moment that he realizes he does deserve this and Frank deserves this and they deserve each other.

---

Frank feels a little restless because they sat him between Gerard and Ray and Bob's all the way on the other side of Mikey, who is next to Gerard. He wants to blatantly ask to switch seats with Mikey, but Leah, the interviewer that he isn't too keen on because, hey, she forced spiders on him, is in the middle of asking Gerard some thought provoking question. And, yeah, he's paying attention, but he's paying more attention to Bob's silence.

Bob can't hear a thing aside from the screaming girls and the chants of 'Come outside!' He's really tempted to do so because just sitting here like a douche isn't really fun. He'd much rather interact with the fans than have a camera in his face. Some things never change. But he stays where he is, resting his elbow on his knee, his fingers idly playing with the necklace as he looks over at Frank, smiling slyly to himself.

Frank peeks over and catches Bob's smile, his fingers smoothing over the heart and he smiles the softest smile. He's hoping this interview ends soon because he can barely hear and Gerard's got it all covered and Bob's so distracting even though he's barely moving.

Bob looks away after he sees the smile; he doesn't want to seem too obvious (though a big part of him does). Out of the corner of his eye, he sees Leah stand and move over closer to him and, finally, he can hear her voice.

"Bob? What's that you got there? A necklace?" she asks, leaning in a bit to see past his fingers. Instinctively, Bob tightens his hold on the heart before sitting up straighter and nodding a bit. "Uhh, yeah."

Frank's neck probably snaps at how quick he looks up. He's observing Bob's reaction and explanation and he just realizes how Leah talks to Bob like he's six years old. Bob looks possessive over the little pendant around his neck and Frank smiles knowingly and tries to catch Bob's eye.

Leah continues throwing questions at Bob and finally, he lets his hand slip down, exposing the silver heart to everyone. "It's um, a heart. And it says 'Love Conquers All' in Japanese. Someone," his eyes flicker over to Frank for a split second, "got it for me in Japan like, a month after I joined the band." His voice is awkward and uncomfortable but he sighs inwardly when no one seems to notice; the audience just 'aww's at him and his face flushes deep red.

Frank is probably smiling like a madman because Bob basically just confessed to the world they were together and he wants to jump up and hug Bob and kiss him and hug all his friends. He wants to call his dad and tell him that he's so fucking in love with Bob Bryar and he puts that on the top of his to-do list, after Bob of course. The embarrassed flush on Bob's cheeks makes Frank nearly knocked out in love because, c'mon, how adorable. He smiles with everyone else and ‘aww’s too and is almost nervous about the question that's gonna come up next.

"Someone, huh? Do you have a girlfriend you aren't telling anyone about, Bob?" Leah asks like she's Bob's friend and he's supposed to have told her he's in a relationship. Pfft, she's completely nuts, Frank thinks.

As if Bob couldn't feel anymore uncomfortable, he glances over at the guys and sure enough, they're all grinning and laughing at him, Mikey even playfully poking his side. "Yeah, something like that," he replies with a shrug and now he's ready for this to end. And thank god, the producer off-screen motions that they have to go to commercial, so Leah turns back to the camera, saying they'll be back in a minute for more with My Chemical Romance.

Bob stands without even looking at anyone, his face on fucking fire as he walks out the open door to the mass of fans outside. He approaches them randomly, signing posters and pictures and CD leaflets. He almost feels sick to his stomach.

Frank has half a mind to run after Bob, but he waits patiently for about 3 seconds before standing up and following him. He places his hand on the small of Bob's back and no one notices because OH MY FUCKING GOD, FRANK IERO JUST WALKED OUTSIDE! But he's more focused on Bob than the fans.

When Bob feels the touch, for a split second, he's worried it's Leah or someone, coming to ask him more questions. But when he looks over and sees Frank beside him, smiling softly and waving at the fans, Bob sighs heavily in relief. "I shouldn't have said that, should I?" he asks in a low whisper, his mouth close to Frank's ear. He doesn't want Frank to be upset with him. See, this is why Bob doesn't talk in interviews; he always says something wrong.

Frank rubs his back and smiles at Bob, his heart contorting in all these pretty shapes.

"Don't worry, baby," Frank replies, moving his hand to sign an autograph. He turns to Bob and makes a kissing face in front of all the fans and smiles. He seems to be doing that a lot lately.

Bob rolls his eyes with a small grin, reaching a hand up and squeezing Frank's cheeks together in a teasing manner. The fans scream louder and coo at the two of them, but it's obvious they think they're just doing that because hey, that's what friends like them do.

Frank really does consider kissing Bob right about now, but that's not so classy and he wants their 'coming out' or whatever to be meaningful and not just a spectacle. This is his relationship with Bob, not some stage show with Gerard.

Bob's necklace glints when camera flashes go off and Frank laughs and laughs with the fans because they don't even know what they're witnessing. He wants to cling to Bob or something, so he does, in a way. He leaps onto his back and Bob almost falls, Frank can tell, but he doesn't. The fans are going crazy and when Bob signs a picture with just Frank and Bob on it, Frank snatches it from Bob's hands when he's done. It reads:

BOB AND FRANK ♥
