ha bitches! i just out talked a tele-marketer! they sent me some post card thing in the mail about having good news for me. i knew it was a lie as soon as i read that because there is no good news when it comes to me. but i was bored and hadn't used my phone in a while so...i called them. they were trying to get me to sign up for maxim and the weekly world news (niether of wich i'm interested in enough to pay for) for five years! five years and i had to keep it for that long. but wait, there's more! in addition i got a free subscription to pc gamer!! and a thousand dollar online shopping spree (as long as i paid shipping and handling)! and a chance to win a MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!
but i wasn't really interested in paying four bucks a week for magazines i wouldn't read. so i just said yes to as much as possible until they put me on with a supervisor who i'm certain thought i was chump and then i started getting a little picky about the magazines and started trying to actually get them to give me a subscription to something i actually wanted. they said that they had over 150 different magazines to choose from and i wanted to hear about most, if not all, of them. after about ten minutes of me going on about which magazines i wanted and trying to convince her to just send me the shopping spree for free she eventually got fed up and told me that she would just cancel my order, if i wanted. as if that was a threat. i told her that would be great. and she hung up on me. it was awesome.
