I am feeling exponentially better today than I did yesterday. A good night's sleep is quite helpful for that!

Also, two positive things of note:

1) I FINALLY got accepted to the other Graphic Design program that I applied to. Hooray for seneca. To be completely honest, they totally, completely, and utterly fucked up my application for WEEKS and I had to chase after them about it constantly, but it seems that my effort has finally paid off. Now I get to make a decision about where I go next year. I have no idea how to do this. I might need to make a pros and cons list and post it here and get feedback. :P

2) I just got my grade back for the crazy history of science essay that I handed in this past Tuesday. (Holy crap, fast prof!) I got an 85, which is 10% above the class average! Ohhhh score! I would also like to mention that this was a 12 page history research paper, I used 16 sources for it, and I started on SATURDAY. That was ridiculously intense. Somehow, and I don't know how, I pulled off a paper in three days that should have taken weeks to do. It was a fun paper. I was writing about the shifting nature of scientific opinion on the construction of gender and human procreation in the 18th century and how that related to changing societal perceptions of women in that era. Although that might sound boring to you (though it isn't to me), in fact, what it really meant was me looking at a crapload of 16th-18th century medical tracts and popular sex manuals containing lots of hilarious penis diagrams.

You can get away with a lot of funny stuff in the name of academia.
