I'm currently selling mountains of shit on eBay. My folks moved out last week and with that came all the stuff I've collected over the years, so the spare room is so full of my old crap I can't get to my clothes in the wardrobe. Well after this week the total from eBay came to £106, which isn't too shabby for stuff I would have thrown in the tip. Who knew somebody out there wanted a Pikachu costume? My old Pop'n Music for Dreamcast made a respectable £37 (and it went to a fellow former UK:R-er! Small world.) Someone's even bidding on my Basic Japanese CD-Rom.
It's feeling good getting rid of the past. I'm being brutal and asking myself why I'm hanging onto these things. Old Disney VHS tapes, games accessories, film memorabillia and all the stuff that I'd kept because 'it might be worth something someday.' I'm finding out it's not worth that much (with a few nice exceptions.) Each sale makes the mountain grow smaller, and it's certainly clearing the cobwebs out of my mind.
Hardest thing to clear out? My old teddys :'(

In other news:
In an effort to make me more productive and enjoy my place of employment more they've blocked GAF at work (took them long enough!)
Next:- Monitor mounted taser guns that shock you if you're taking a break from the hamster wheel.
