cassyndrome about our upcoming DC-SOAR show on Tuesday, August 28th (music kicks off at 9:30pm) at the Ocean Drive Club & Lounge in Northern Silver Spring/Wheaton, MD, and listed some excellent reasons why you should come out, so I thought I’d add to the fun with some similar reasons, as well as some reasons I thought of. *maniacal grin*
- As Irene mentioned, this is the LAST time to see Cassandra Syndrome live in the local area until late October. Our other shows until then will be in NYC and Massachusetts.
- Irene will doubtless be wearing a very interesting outfit. ;)
- The ticket price was just lowered to $8, making it a show on 8/28 for $8. So bring 8 friends…or something. :)
- FREE parking right across the street.
- Sometimes BJ’s hair appears to levitate as if of its own free will. Be there to potentially witness a miracle…
- Ocean Drive is only a few blocks from the Wheaton metro stop on the Red line.
- This is a 2-set show. We're going to play everything. Been missing Scream, Hourglass or some of our other, weirder, stuff? This is the show for them.
- Chris playing distorted bouzouki!
- The club is very, very cool. Big open space, nicely furnished, fun light show, projections on the walls, smoke machine, etc.
- See me in a kilt…sitting on a drum stool. ;)
- Ummm, make Tuesday a cool night again. Or for the first time, maybe? ;)
- And last, but certainly not least, Joe will promise not to eat your soul. At least for the evening, anyway…
