Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities: Good with a huge blade. Like the rest of the Baskervilles, he was granted a “key”, an orb of light sometime in his past, and became part of the rest of the “family”. It has recently been revealed in the mangaverse that the Baskervilles are immortal; able to come back to life even after receiving a death blow. The Baskervilles have also been known to sense the presence of others; it appears to be only useful if the Baskervilles are alone, however. They also are much more agile, stronger, and faster than an average human.
Just recently in canon Fang revealed his bioweapon Chain - a two-tailed badger called "Tove". Tove's ability is digging extremely fast through soil and then rocketing out to attack enemies with very sharp (but tiny!) claws. Tove also is extremely fast, which helps even though he's currently the smallest Chain we have seen thus far in Pandora Hearts.
Tove! And a size comparison! Conditional: If your character has no superhuman canon abilities, what dormant ability will you give them? N/A
Weapons: Great big sword that is strapped inside a holster worn under his red cloak
History/Personality/Plans/etc.
Character History: There is currently no canon information about Fang’s childhood, other than what can be assumed. It’s possible that he was already a well-groomed young noble before he received a Baskerville “key” - a glowing orb that touched his body and suddenly “enlightened him”. Afterwards, he took residence in the Baskerville estate, living with Glen, Lottie, Doug, (other unnamed Baskervilles) and eventually Lilly, who he has continuously treated like a little sister - even branding himself with the tattoo she had and convincing Doug to do the same.
For the time being, life seemed easy and comfortable, even if they dealt with a distant and grieving Lord. Soon the halcyon days ended, and the day that would be known as the Tragedy of Sablier would forever be known in the pages of history. Glen Baskerville ordered his pseudo-family to attack every living thing inside of the capital.
And despite their incredulous reactions, they all did play their part with the massacre, sparing no one; woman, man, or child. Towards the end, the Abyss suddenly opened up, and a huge portion of the city disappeared inside of a great hole. The Baskervilles were swallowed up, with all of them staying inside for nearly a hundred years.
It’s not exactly known when Fang got out or if he was with anyone else when he finally escaped. He eventually regrouped with the remaining Baskervilles, despite them being leaderless since Glen’s “death”. Their plans eventually pointed them to Zai Vessalius, who is either posing as a Baskerville or has been granted one of the “keys”. Through him, they learn of Oz Vessalius, Zai’s son, and apparent heir to the Vessalius Dukedom. During the boy’s coming-of-age ceremony, the Baskervilles ambush Oz, and cast him into the Abyss for ten whole years.
Fang first makes his “real” canon appearance when Oz (who had just been expelled from the Abyss), Gilbert, Alice, and his uncle Oscar Vessalius sneak into the academy of Lutwidge. The Baskervilles manage to capture Oz and take him underground, where they (Lottie) proceed to learn more about Oz through interrogation (Lottie’s breasts), but they are disrupted when Elliot Nightray and his servant, Leo Whatishislastname attempt to rescue Oz. After a heartfelt speech, Elliot draws his sword, prompting Fang to engage in a swordfight with the kid.
The Baskervilles are distracted as Fang and Elliot duel (it would have been much shorter if Elliot’s skills with the blade were lacking), which allows for Leo to shoot Lottie, Elliot to unbind Oz and smash some boxes, and momentarily escape.
Of course, the Baskerville pursue them, and Lottie takes the lead in attacking the kids with her Chain, Leon. Soon enough, Oz summons B. Rabbit’s power, and suddenly the person they see before them is Jack Vessalius, comrade to their disappeared lord, Glen. Mostly by Lottie’s orders, the Baskervilles retreated, where they remained in the background, learning more and more about how to bring their Master Glen back with the help of Vincent Nightray.
It then became their mission to track down the sealing stones used to keep Glen from returning to this world. During their travels into the cave in the ruins of Sablier, Fang and co. find one of the sealing stones. With Fang’s sword, the sigil breaks.
Some time after that, after much plottings going on with Vincent concerning the Head Hunter, the Baskervilles learn the location of another sealing stone: in the underground halls of the mansion belonging to Isla Yura. The foreign man has hosted a party to celebrate Oz Vessalius’ Coming-Into-Society ceremony, and the Baskervilles arrive to crash it and break the stone. But Yura seemed intent on ruining his own party, by having some of his cultlings dress up as Baskervilles and attempt to reenact the Tragedy of Sablier. When Lottie and Doug discover this, they are quite unamused, but vote to disappear for the moment.
At this time Fang and Lily are left by themselves underneath the expanse of Yura’s mansion. But Lily has brought a captive to play with: Liam Lunettes, a young Pandora agent who snuck in with other members to retrieve the sealing stone with Oz and co. Lily’s idea of “playing” involves using her Chain, the Bandersnatch, to rip Liam apart.
She is suddenly forced to stop having her fun when Fang blocks her from attacking Liam further, then bends to inspect the man’s pulse and proclaim him dead.
Unfortunately, Xerxes Break, another Pandora agent and good friend to Liam, steps into the chamber and begins to call for his friend. When he begins to get repetitive, Fang promptly tells the man that Liam has died, and then turns to leave with a tearful Lily.
They are halted however when Xerxes Break summons his Chain, Mad Hatter, and draws his blade at the Baskervilles.
It’s at that point Fang is suddenly pulled into the City.
Point in Canon: Most recent chapter (this might change due to the Pandora Hearts series being incomplete)
Conditional: Brief summary of previous RP history: None.
Character Personality: When we first encounter Fang, it’s quite obvious that he’s much more different in demeanor than his other Baskerville comrades. He more polite, calm, and respectful of others, which could have been caused by a more pureblood noble upbringing. Examples of this come from when Oz was kidnapped by the Baskervilles; Fang was one of the first people to step forth, stop Lottie from harassing Oz, and assure the Vessalius that no real harm is intended (for now, at least). He even apologizes for taking Oz’s time. This also shows that he has had a good lesson in humility towards others, regardless if he’s their senior or if they are equal or not in nobility.
Fang is also more noticeably the friendliest and mild-mannered of the Baskerville group. He also seems to have a soft spot for children and outcasts, due to his immediate warmth towards Lily when she first arrived; he also managed to convince the otherwise stoic Doug to tattoo his face in the likeness of Lily’s brand. Almost whenever he is around Lily, he acts as a sort of replacement father or older brother figure towards her. And he obviously doesn’t mind it at all when she uses him as a shield from Vincent or like a tall jungle-gym to climb.
Fang also appears to understand the fragility of life far greater than his other Baskerville companions. He is seen warning Elliot that those who threaten the Baskervilles are surely asking for death and also is one of the Baskervilles to vocally question Glen’s desire to murder everyone in Sablier. Perhaps the most provocative of these examples was when he stopped Lily from further razing Laim’s body. It’s one of the few times we see Fang actually looking angry with someone close to him. His next immediate expression after he sternly commands her to stop is concern for Liam’s sake. Perhaps Fang is not quite as cutthroat as the rest of the Baskervilles.
Conditional: Personality development in previous game: None.
Character Plans: To be a part of the Baskerville group. And to protect Lily~!

[The NV is turned on to reveal Fang, sitting like a proper Victorian gentleman instead of a rugged warrior on top of a pile of what appears to be the bodies of now dead Darkness creatures. The tall man slouches forward, meshing his fingers together to hide the lower portion of his face. Elbows resting on his knees, he scrutinized the NV, his journal, laying open-faced on the ground. The viewer would be able to see that the Baskerville’s hood is down, and his sword is stained with the dark blood of the creatures he was using as a stool now.
For the moment Fang was quiet, his canted eyes betraying now sudden emotion. He appeared to be pondering his perplexing new situation. The man looked up, checking the surrounding area before turning his attention back to the NV. He gave his tattooed cheek a scratch before opening his mouth to ask:]
Has anyone seen a little girl around here with a big, black dog?

Fang watched the image inside of the journal fade to nothingness before closing it. He’d experimented with the thing he was supposed to refer to as his NV with the voice, text, and video feed, but made sure to cancel it before someone could contact him.
For a minute he sat on his throne of Darkness bodies, ruminating over his current circumstances. Right now he knew he was not at Yura’s mansion. It seemed unlikely that he was anywhere near the man’s country; or his, for that matter.
The Baskerville looked up from the field towards the buildings, brows furrowing at their bizarre shapes. Who in their right mind would design architecture like that? “Too strange,” He mused, scratching his goatee before tugging his huge blade out from the earth. It’s held in both hands as the man crouches. He detected the presence of more of those disturbing forms; much like the remnants of lost souls in the ruins of Sablier. Most of them hardly even resemble human forms; it’ll just be a small mercy to put them out of their misery.
