Fic Status and Beta Request [Filled]
I am sorry to inform everyone that the sequel to The Last Con is not going to be posted in October as I had promised. My beta and I are working on it, but real life has taken precedent. That and we're quite possibly the nit-pickiest people who really only want the best for this fic and it's taking longer than expected. (and really - it's nearly 50K, can you blame us?)
Plus the muse gets in the way when new fic wants to be written. :D
I don't know when I'll start posting, but I can promise you that it's coming. It may come on a rolling basis, while we work on the later chapters, but I haven't decided yet.
Also, I am looking for an additional beta reader. My fics are getting too long for my lovely, oh so talented and ever patient beta, sapphire2309, and I need to spread the love. I currently have a 25K fic in holding and a 12K and growing sequel. It's been known as 'Crack AU' (aka 'the fic that takes itself too seriously') on my computer for months now, and I'm finally ready to unleash it on the world. Or at least some unsuspecting person who wants to beta and tell me if I'm insane. I need someone who is good with grammar because I suck at commas, looks at overall flow/plot, and is willing to help clean things up in general. (reword, etc...) I'm a somewhat indecisive author and need a fair bit of hand holding. But I can handle constructive criticism and 'WTF??' type of comments. :D
Oh, and it's N/S. Does that really need mentioning?
