February's priorities:
Catch up my craft blog's tutorial/pattern directory
Finish fixing serger on workbench
Clean and oil 2 Sew-op Brother machines
On the 3rd I finished that dang pillow, and it was well-received that night as a gift. I caught up the blog's pattern directory and other resource compendiums on the 4th.
The following weekend I finished the crochet basket I started ages ago (December?) and repacked my basement crochet bag with two new projects. I did a little work on one of them but they're both more finicky than baskets (they're little and one of them needed to be designed), so ultimately I began another basket in weekend 3. But also finished it the same weekend.
I did some ancillary work - went through some magazines for collage materials, tried to clear more space in the sewing room, also taught embroidery at the Sew-op - but it felt like a low crafting month overall.
In the last full week of the month I worked on the to-design ami enough to realize it simply wasn't going to work, so I switched to the other one. Unfortunately the one I had to abandon was the one I bought all the perle cotton for last month.
Then! Weekend 4 was ridiculously productive. I shortened the sleeves of 3 shirts and added grosgrain ribbon to the waists of 2 pairs of pants to hopefully keep them from stretching with wear. I reattached a button on one of the hubs' shirts and took in the hands of my Yoga Paws. I prepped samples to photograph for my Machine Care workshop handout, and worked more on the ami Saturday night. Sunday I started a new version of the failed ami as a needle felting project. That was it for the month but I felt I made up for the slow start.
February's craft spending:
I've been a little spendy so far this year...
2 skeins wool yarn for needle felting project ($9.79)
grosgrain ribbon for stash ($2.09)
3 remnants for stash ($6.53)
black powdered dye ($1.49)
2 spools thread for stash ($2.93)
5 skeins yarn for long-term afghan project ($11.05)
4 skeins yarn for stash ($8.84)
(those last two prices include shipping, so you can see why I jumped on the sale!)
February's completions:
t-shirt pillowcase (we'll call this $18.19, $8.91 of which was spent this year; materials got shuffled around)

2 pants' waists stabilized
button re-sewn
yoga paws taken in
3 samples for handout photos
