I'm about to be one of those people who post stuff about their cat:
R.I.P. Ming the Merciless. You took no guff from anyone and you were stoic to the end. Give the other ghost cats hell and keep on being you while exploring the mysteries of the universe. But don't forget to write...
These last few days he barely had any personality or poise, barely recognized anyone was there and had lost his voice. When he tried to speak it came out as an elongated exhale or hiss. He'd walk about 3 feet and lay down to rest for a few minutes before walking another 3 feet and repeat until someone picked him up and laid him on a bed. He hadn't been eating or drinking anything for some time despite the fact that we made caturday everyday in attempt to get him to eat or drink anything at all, but he couldn't or wouldn't take anything.
So we took him in to arrange for his immediate transformation. The vet agreed with our estimation of the situation and transformed him into something other than we can perceive. Ming was not that body. Now that he is free of it, may his life truly begin. But may he never forget us, for we will never forget him. May Bastet bless him on his journeys.
