It was time.

Packing up the LEGO.

Not putting it away. Packing it up.

Some of it was mine. I never threw it away - lugged it with me everywhere I moved. For my future child. And I got to give it to my future child. Who got a lot more Lego.

We built words. Then she did. Then she and her friend did. Then they stopped.

There are charities that need it. Our local school's Lego League needs it. I don't want to give it to them. They will build things for competitions. They will build objects. I want it to go to children who will build worlds.

I want my office back. Although Laurel wants to make it a guest room - that's reasonable. But neither can happen in a room with a card table in the middle of it with a world on top. And boxes of Legos under it and all around. Some of the kits have not been opened.

So it was time to pack up the Legos, and I asked Laurel to look into where we can donate them.

So I packed them up.

I was crying.
