Wow that place's ramen is good... even if a bowl of miso ramen and the little free side of rice costs 750 yen, twice what I normally pay for lunch, I couldn't help myself. I will officially never be able to eat ramen in America ever again. Or so I say (instant ramen over here is considerably more expensive than it is in America, strangely enough).
Also, a girl I saw in Shibuya today was wearing a shirt that said in large capitol letters "Big Breast Champion" and had some kind of date and something else, couldn't really see. I really don't think she won that shirt herself though. One of the more amusing English shirts I've seen.
I'm about to submit some forms for moving out and for getting my plane ticket home from JASSO... makes me think back to the first night I got here, riding into the city on the bus and taking the train from the Tokyo City Air Terminal (which is actually on the Hanzomon line I believe, which becomes the Den-en-toshi line in Shibuya) to Sangenjaya for the first time... how new and dizzying it all was. But now I'm pretty used to it, think nothing of taking the trains... I'm all adjusted to life in this big city I guess. It'll still be nice to be back in a place where there are trees and open areas... not that I'll go out in the country and sit in a field when I get back or anything. I think I'll realize going back that I didn't accomplish all I wanted to, whatever exactly that was, but that's alright. Somehow I'm excited about the prospect of having an exact date and time set for when I get back to America. I'm thinking that'll be Saturday July 30th, to give me time to both go on a short trip and wrap up business matters over here, like my bank account, cell phone contract, and health insurance.
In other news my presentation today in class went very smoothly, somehow... I'm glad about that after how I sort of locked up and messed up a lot last time.
