Report From VGF '08
so the third annual 24 hour video game fest (VGF for short) is over.
I was the only survivor.
out of the 5 that started (V, ryan, mike, eric, and myself) V passed out over the night, a little later, ryan was feeling sick, so he dropped out, mike's girlfriend was around, and he had to help her with her car, and eric dropped out near the end.
I had the eye of the tiger.
1st of all, i stayed on one couch the entire time, and the only times i got up were to A: get food and or drink B: go to the bathroom and C: check out what is happening on other TVs. In total, i didn't leave my seat for more than 5 minutes at a time.
i beat 2 games (FF12 and Phantom hourglass) and played 7 others(okami, shadow of the colossus, FF7: dirge of cerberus, guitar hero, Katamari damashii,and burnout dominator).
i ate 3 bagels, 2 bags of crazy bread, some roasted peanuts, half an orange, and 2 donuts. I drank a dr. thunder, an orangette, and a bottle of water.
the late night/ early morning (2-4 or so am) was the funniest part, as we all went slightly crazy.
