So my platoon has to change its call sign. I've been saber2 for the past six years. Saber being our platoon callsign and 2 being my truck designator. So now we're involved in this big operation and look, some bastard (actually like 4 bastards) think they're way to cool to have anoter saber around. SO. Here are my suggestions.
1. - Mongoose - cause mongoose killed the cobra!
2. - Rhodeheathen - our brigade general's last name is rhodheaver so its a clever play on his hated name
3. - Slant - we call in slant reports which is a count of vehicles and personel that are still mission capable. this callsign would cause endless confusion and hence fun!
4. - CATBUTT - yes. my favorite. and a homage to what REM almost named their first album. I would never stop laughing hearing catbutt called over any of the frequencies used in country. Man. good times.
