This morning I heard on NPR that the City of Milwaukee Police Department has asked for the assistance of the city's taxi cab companies. Cab drivers are encouraged to report suspicious activity to their dispatchers who then call police. Since my neighborhood, Riverwest, has an active neighborhood watch program, I wondered if any neighborhood watches did something similar. Then I had a question.
Is there an application that can learn about the local neighborhood watch programs and connect the phone with the appropriate person based on the caller's location..? Otherwise, is there an app that would connect the caller to a non emergency police line to report suspicious activity..?
