**This is a re-post of all cat and kitten information. There are photos of all cats available for adoption.**

The following is a list of information and photos for the adoptable adult cats and kittens we are fostering. If you know anyone interested in adopting an adult cat- or and eight week old kitten- send us an e-mail to: revjim_holly@yahoo.com

Anna (or Anna Belle as I call her):
Anna (Belle) is a lovely silver tabby who came to our doorstep in September of 2003. She was suffering from a near fatal fever brought on by a wolf-worm. When we took her to the vet, she weighed in at only three pounds- but was estimated at being over six months old (so she should have weighed six pounds). She went through a course of antibiotics and was right as rain almost immediately. She is a very affectionate kitty, and either plays with small dogs-- or is indifferent toward them. She is up to date on shots and has been spayed. She loves to sleep in your lap, and lay with you on the bed. She's possibly one of the best-natured cats we have taken in thus far.

Tiger Lily:
Tiger Lily is a gorgeous tortie cat. Her kitten photos were regarded quite highly in the baby kitten communities. ;) She was one of the first litters of kittens we've taken in since moving here in 2003. She was born in February of 2004. Tiger Lily has been quite the lovely and affectionate kitty as long as we've had her. One of her favorite things to do is to follow Jim around the edges of the bed-- letting him know it is time to go to sleep. At one point we did have a problem with her chewing on thin cords to the computer and stereo speakers. She has not messed with them in months-- but it is something potential adopters should be aware of before hand. She is up to date on shots and spayed.

Chingu:
Chingu was born in December of 2004. He is a super-affectionate dark tabby. One of his favorite play spots is on top of the shower curtain. He's not a destructive critter, but he does need to be neutered. He's being kept separate from Opal and the kittens as un-altered male cats tend to be aggressive toward kittens. And then there's the fact that Opal needs to be spayed too. ;)

and my favorite... the snake pose:

Opal:
(the mother of the kittens) is in need of a spay-- and then she will also be available for adoption. She is a lovely little tabby with orange splotches in her fur. She has been combo tested-- and is negative (as have all the adults).

We currently have two kittens left for adoption-- a little tabby girl-- and an orange tabby boy. They turn eight weeks old today. They are litter trained and eating solid foods. Both are super-affectionate and playful.

  • All cats and kittens in these photos are from rescued pregnant strays, or showed up sick. They are not family pets- and we strongly encourage spaying/neutering your own pets.
  • All adult cats will be spayed/neutered before being placed with new permanent and responsible people. They will not be taken to a "kill" shelter.
  • We are not a "tax deductible" rescue. We rescue independently. We often work with other rescues in the placement of strays.
  • We cannot take in cats at the request of people who can no longer keep them. We have enough that we are already fostering- and simply cannot afford more. I would be happy to post an entry to help people adopt out cats.
  • I took these photos. You are welcome to link (and actually asked to please do) to the entry if you so desire.
