With this many people kicking around, many of whom are demonic, angelic or godly in their own right, I sorta find that hard to believe.

Dunno about the first two, but gods or people who think they are are supposed to be immortal, aren't they? Maybe being stuck somewhere like this for awhile isn't so bad for someone who's lived for a really, really long time. I'd say the same goes for me, but I probably just haven't been here long enough to start worrying about it.

Supposed to be. I find it hard to believe, myself. Nothing lasts forever, not even a so-called 'god'.

There seems to be a distinction. The 'in-city' gods are different than the gods that are like you and me and just sorta got dropped here.

Kinda confusing... but I'll take your word for it. Personally, I think that anyone that calls themselves a god is deluded. Doesn't matter if they've got tons of flashy stuff to back it up or not. If people-who-think-they're-gods run this place, they can probably die just like anyone else.
