This is very, very good. Just the right mixture of darkness and moments of love between Remus and Sirius. Poor Regulus, I do feel very sad for him. This was very well written!

Oh, FR you're always so kind. Thank you.

BTW, is anybody bringin' Remus a boat anytime this week?

Lol, he is seeing to that as we speak! I've nearly finished chapter 7 - I'm afraid I stopped doing just about everything (including sleeping and eating!) in a fit of terror last week before my exam results came out, but I'm all happy again now I know I've passed and can concentrate on R/S again :-)

Beautiful. I'm not sure how to sum up this work with any other word than that. I am in love with your take on Regulus and how he differs from the one living in my head. He is very believable, very...Black, for lack of a better word.

My favorite part is where he compares Lupin to the werewolf in the book, and the description of his eyes.

Lovely piece. I look forward to reading more by you.

Thank you so much. I couldn't decide between making Reg a hard-core snot nosed Slytherin toward Sirius or secretly missing him... so I did both. Thank you for your comments!

burnt like an overdone pancake? That image needs to win an award for vividness and creativity.
This is a wonderful story! I feel so bad for Regulus at the end. The poor boy needs as much attention paid to his character as Peter -- both have nearly nothing really said about them in cannon except for their drastic choices to betray their chosen sides.
I believe that is a blatant hint that I would love to see you write more about Regulus. Also about R/S, of course, because you've captured the emotion between them so achingly well. I would, for instance, be very interested in knowing more about this day the Hufflepuff girls walked into a charms classroom...

Thank you for appreciating the pancake line! I was kind of proud of that one :) Alright, so I'm taking notes... more Reg... some smut in the Charms rooms. Will do!

Thank you for your feedback!

Wow! That was exceedingly powerful and VERY well-written! You capture the characters of Regulus/Sirius/Remus so very well. And your Regulus is really rather sympathetic - especially in the way that you so adeptly portrayed the tension between his duties to his family and his love for his brother. I've always found that relationship to be so sad!

You also write action very well - and that is no small task! The fights scenes were vivid, elegant, and descriptive, yet I could follow them easily. (For some reason, that is juts not my forte so if I "get" an action scene at first read, it speaks VERY well for the author. I'm mildly disabled that way!) But I think my favorite moment of the dueling scene was Remus' healing charm and that beautiful image of shared breathing. That was wonderful!

As was the last line!

Thank you so much. I'm enjoying picking apart these strange relationships in way of seeing R & S. Thank you for the support on the action bits, I'm never sure if they're clear enough in imagery or just in my interpretation of what I'm writing. Thanks, as always, for your support!

Man, this is freaking awesome! I lovelovelove duelling fics and there aren't enough of them! Loved the scene with Remus, Sirius and Regulus in the hospital- interesting and very realistic dynamic. Write more! Have you written any other Remus/Sirius fics?

Oops, never mind I just checked your journal and your fics are all there. :)

Aww... thanks, darling! The others are far from dueling... I'm still getting a swing for writing fiction again, I really appreciate the support.
Thank you.
