It’s Wednesday, that means writer blog! Woo… Now… let’s see what have I learned this week? Well, I learned that the appropriate response to “Why are you avoiding me” - especially when said in jest - is “Because the Universe can’t handle that much AWESOME in one place at a time”.

Oh, my nattering about movies are part of this week’s SF Signal Mind Meld. I put in a plug for my friend, Allen Williams, who did concept art for Pacific Rim - and who’s recently gone back to full time freelance art. I’m SO VERY jealous. I want to be able to do that myself and still pay for things like food and rent - which is the future goal.

I wish I can say I just tore it up when it came to fiction writing this week…yeah, no. I know that when things come down to crunches, things get done. That’s why my house is currently clean. We will have a house guest for the next several days - it had to get done. But my time is not currently my own as much as I would like. For the next few weeks it is…seriously…bare necessity time. And I just remembered something I was supposed to have done…yesterday. Bam. There it is.

This will not last long. This I vow. My sanity won’t allow it - and it’s tenuous at best. But…I might get to check out a really pen store this weekend around family obligations - and we’ll have one day where we get to sleep in for a two month plus time frame. I’m very much looking forward to that. So… yeah, sorry about the randomness this week - I am so not feeling the pithy. And fortunately, nothing seems to have blown up all over the internet this week. So… yay?
