it's funny how, at one point, you knew someone so well.
and then they changed into someone that you don't know.
and isn't really them.
or at least it doesn't seem like it,
because sometimes you get close enough to someone to know them better than they do.
and you know when they're not themselves anymore.
and you don't like the person they've changed into.
because that's not the person you befriended in the first place.
you can become "more mature" and still know how to have fun.
i don't understand how people can forget how to have fun.
&i know that being a good friend, means standing by that person, even if they change.
i think there's an exception if that friend changed so much that they don't bother with you anymore.
even though you were there for them, when they needed it and deserved it, and when they didn't deserve it at all.
i know i've been guilty of something similar, but it's one thing to realize that you're making a huge mistake, and fix it, and it's something totally different to know that you're losing someone, and not make an effort to change that, or care that it's happening.
