Well, Halloween is a holiday for people to wear costumes. The grown-ups go to parties, but the kids go trick-or-treating. They go to houses in the neighborhoods, ring the doorbell, and when someone shows up, they say "Trick or treat!" Then, the person who shows up gives the kids candy.
