A while back, I wrote about the trailer for "Repo: The Genetic Opera", assuming that it would come out in theaters and I would go and see it on a sunny morning at a cheap showing. Then the movie wasn't released in the way I expected it would be, and when it moseyed over to San Diego, I didn't think I could stay up until midnight to see something ( Read more... )

Weeeeee!!! *not reading the actual spoiler-y parts yet*

Glad you liked this. I was pretty psyched to see such a different genre of a musical come out. I'm waiting til my brother comes back from the Phils and we can watch it together. :D

*is excited*

HAHAHA! Of real people? This is gonna be a first! XD I have to absolutely adore this movie.

Oh! I do remember desperately wanting to make fanart of Sweeney Todd when that came out 'cause everybody was doing it. We will see!!!

Uh...wow. Gore and I do not have a happy relationship, but I am strongly tempted to watch this. And yes, everything IS better when it's sung, which is why my favorite musical is Sweeney Todd, and not something less...sanguinary.

I think, compared to what I was expecting, this movie wasn't too gory. There's a lot of fake body parts, but I think they *look* pretty fake. And the best part part is, even if you have to cover your eyes, there's still great singing going on.

Really fake gore actually makes me sicker than some more realistic stuff, but oh, I'm REALLY REALLY curious. I may medicate myself in order to see it, I'm that curious. I already love Anthony Stewart Head and his singing voice, so maybe I will.

Well, as I said above, if you have to close your eyes, there's still a lot of neat stuff to listen to. However, if your tolerance is low, I don't blame you if you don't want to watch... :) You could try listening to the soundtrack by itself?
