a pair of iridescent wings flutter behind him, and he lowers his head to let the Beautifly land on his out-stretched arm, fluttering her newly found wings. he shakes his head, and with conviction, begins to speak.]
Um... Kitty.... Kitty grew... into a butterfly. ['Kitty' the Beautifly opens and closes her wings at this point, solemn. he goes on.]
I think... I think Kitty grew so pretty because... all of my friends sent Kitty... their happy thoughts, and helped her find her wings...
[a pause. then--] So I... want to say 'thank you' to everyone...! And Kitty... wants to say 'thank you', too...!
[after that, there's a brief lull where he's contemplating something, the small gears in his head clicking away. when he speaks again, it's slow and deliberate, sad, but, hopeful.] You know... a lot of my friends left... and I... can't visit them anymore, and I really miss them...
