So, I am living up in Austin now and going to UT. For some reason it is really bizarre, but not too much so. It is just weird to go to a college that looks like one that you picture in your head when you hear the word "college". The whole "big school ra ra football" attitude isn't quite my thing. I am attending none the less. I am taking French which will probably just make me feel like I am David Sedaris in "Me Talk Pretty One Day". I have a feeling I will have to study a lot for that class. Also I am taking a Biology class called "Ecology Evolution and Society". I would probably rank this class higher if it wasn't at 8 am, but you can't win them all I suppose. The last two classes I am taking are Linguistics (boring and hard) and British Literature with an emphasis on Gender Studies and Women Authors ( jackpot!). My British Lit teacher is a hairy armpitted lesbian and the self titled "hippy teacher your parents warned you about at UT" , that's okay by me though I'd rather have her than a stuffy old man. I really like my apartment and all the hard work myself and my parents ( mostly hunting for antiques with mom) put into it was well worth it.
My desk and such.
You can see my chair and pole lamp in this one.
My bed.
Kitty paint by number and owl family on the wall in the bathroom.
Kitchen.
Dining Room with string art and a birdcage.
Living Room.
