Quite a lot has been happening in the World of Fi, lately.
* Ant's Visit.
That dude is awesome. We had a laugh, it was good to see him. His interview was on Wednesday and he reckons it went well, which means it's highly likely he'll be coming to Hull in January. Which will be... OK. This is the part where I'm stuck. I'm a little apprehensive about it now, actually.
* The Killers @ Hull Arena 21-11-06
Fucking AMAZING. Seriously, best gig I've ever been to. The whole band were brilliant, but Brandon was just superb. He was so good with interacting with the crowd and stuff. It helped that Ant and I were in a pretty good spot - close enough to the front to get a good view but not so far in we got completely crushed! Well, we got a bit crushed, especially during songs like Mr Brightside where everyone just went mental! Some people don't like being in the thick of it, but I loved it.

* Last Night - Mike & Ant's Big Gay Cookout
As a committee bonding experience/thank you for letting us bugger off for a long weekend in Austria while you do all the work, Mike and Ant cooked for us all last night. They made soup. It had the consistency of wallpaper paste! It was OK though. Then they burnt the cauliflower. And we'll not even discuss the gravy or rum truffles. Then Hector rolled a massive, pure-weed blunt in the remains of a cigar case. It was rough, but it knocked us all sideways. That and the wine... woah. It was a fantastic evening though. Mike collapsed first, he was pretty spaced out, then Jess, Ant & Hec decorated his bedroom door with the remains of the duck carcasses and soup. Hector went home and the rest of us managed to order pizza and stuff, since we got major munchies, and then walked Jess home (after spending about an hour mesmerised watching those weird late night quiz shows with the presenters that are total morons). Managed to mission it back to 82 De Gray where I collapsed in the spare room and slept for about 12 hours. Went downstairs to help clean up, came back home and here I am. I have some cool photos and quotes... 'So, the committee meal can be summed up in one quote: Mike, go and wee on Jess!' and 'Is it bad to pick it's backside? It's really crispy' are my favourites I think.
OK, I thought there was more to say than this, but I can't think of it right now. I guess during the week I kept thinking 'cool, that'd be something to put on LJ' and now I've forgotten it all.

We redesigned the club hoodies. By 'we', I mean, we all sat down and talked about what we wanted.. and then I made it happen, haha. But they're awesome, I'm going to live in mine from now on! Here's a photo that shows most bits of it. The back has a cool logo too but I don't have photos of that bit yet.
