Updates
My life has been sort of chaotic for the past five months. Many a night spent pondering ways to keep me and my cats in my apartment for a little while longer. I have had one very special person standing by my side since all this happened and that is Ben. I cannot say enough things about Ben because he is what he is. A wonderful man who has graced me with this time with him. I also have had the unwavering support of my mum and dad who have taken it upon themselves to help pay for my bills and rent for this month. Its not a permanent thing as they have their own bills to pay but the little bit that they've been able to give..fuck it being a little bit..its been a lot really.
I did not get the job at Wash U..they went with an internal candidate. I did not get the job at SSM or at Paulo. I have applied at Shop n Save in hopes that even though im overqualified to check out groceries they will realize that I am looking for a way to survive.
I still spend some nights crying as i hold my kitties close under the blankets. Terrified at what may happen in a month or two or what will become of me financially and mentally. Unemployment still has not been approved...I've applied for food stamps and am awaiting an interview with a case worker..Im doing all i can..In the end i hope its enough
