Unsure and Unscripted... Random too.
Been trying to figure this bedroom thing out for Natty. Mainly because I want to be able to use the time that she is away with Karen to try to get the bulk of it done. The other day while I was sick and napping with Izzy one of Tarra's twitter updates came in. I sort of woke up and read it, then promptly fell back to sleep. She mentioned something about Steampunk. In my dreams I saw Natty's room done up in Steampunk Princesses. When I woke up I texted Channing and asked what her opinion on it was and she liked it too. Not sure why it took me so long to think of it, I've liked Steampunk design for years and I was leaning towards a Princess theme (just not the Disney style) and I knew that people have done the Disney Princesses in Steampunk style. Guess it just took a text from a good friend while I was pretty much asleep for my brain to actually connect the two. Spent most of the day pinning random things on Pinterest, found someone on there that I liked almost all of her stuff so I went a little crazy. lol.
Later that night I finally remembered that I wanted to run the idea by Stefan and he asked how we might go about doing it so I spent the rest of the night looking up ideas and organizing my Pinterest boards because they were getting a little scattered. Ah the joys of being so sick that you don't really notice that time is going by and aren't really able to discuss your ideas because you lost your voice.
Next few days I thought of more ideas, and how to bring it to fruition. Then ideas for other decoration themes that Stefan and I like came up. Grr. Doesn't help that Natty is so wishy washy about what she wants. So now I don't know what to do. So it looks like her room will continue to be mish mash of random kids stuff. I guess that works, it's mostly what I had growing up too. Well until Mom painted my book shelf and dresser to match (and my bunk beds but they got rid of them awhile ago), which by the way are what's in Natty's room. Pifft. I guess I'll work on different projects instead, ones I might actually make headway on. Though it is a fun thing to think about (on all themes) when I am having trouble concentrating on other projects and life. lol.
I've started doing writing exercises... well I've done one so far with the promise to myself that I'll continue to do them.
Have to start getting things together because there is only three weeks left till the beach trip and after that there is only a week in between that and the Montana trip. So laundry mainly.
