I am so fucking sick of people saying that everyone has a right to their own opinion. No, I'm sorry, you don't. You do not. Unless you're going to say it's all right for people to express a racist opinion that black people and white people should not be able to get married, then it's not all right to say it's okay for people to express the opinion that gay people should not be able to get married. Since when was Hitler just "standing up for what he believed?"
I guess I'm just annoyed with people who are defending Miss California's answer to the gay marriage question: Well I think its great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be between a man and a woman. Thank you very much.
To be honest, I'm seeing some pro-choice in regards to gay marriage. And that's fine! She started out good. Yeah, it is a choice. I'm not saying same-sex marriage is for everyone, if you don't believe in it don't do it. But don't tell me I can't. Don't tell me what to do in this country because it's mine too.
