I'm really starting to dislike the new lady at work. By "new lady" I mean the woman who's taken the third position here since one of our staff members is on maternity leave. It's a temporary position. Temporary. She's already all up in our fo'hizzle. She's a bossy overachiever and the next time she tells me how to do something, I'ma smack her. I've been with these clients for a year and a half. The other staff and I have been here since intake for crying out loud.

WE KNOW. You can be great at your job, but you can simultaneously be the most annoying fucking thing on the planet. She swirls in here like she's gonna fix the joint. We weren't broken. And now at every staff meeting she insists that the staff she's replacing isn't coming back from maternity leave and that she wants the position. Honestly, I don't think she's coming back either, but I don't want to think about this flaming cunt taking over permanently. She interrupts, she brags, she kisses ass, and I hate it. She acts like the other staff and I don't do a damn thing. We had such a good team going here. Ugh, this is what we get for throwing an old person into the mix. She thinks she's Mother Hen now.

I shouldn't have bitched so much about having to do laundry, because now I don't have to do laundry anymore, but I have to hear about this woman talk about how AMAZING it is that she did laundry.

In slightly less annoyed news, I'm coming up on pretty much done with this quarter. My classes for Winter quarter a-finalized, and the only bad thing I can see so far about them is that I have a professor who really enjoys letting us out late from class, and he's at the end of the day. Meaning I won't be seeing the first 10 minutes of Heroes for the entire quarter. Also, it's a group work happy teacher teaching group therapy. --I'm terrified.

To end, everyone should see The Squid and the Whale. It's one of those movies that's so full of simple realism that I can't get over it. Jesse Eisenberg's performance is fantastic and OHmygod I just realized he's the little brother from Cursed. WTF? Ahahaha. That cheered me up. ....and looking up on IMDB, he's the big brother of the Pepsi commercial girl. o.O Wow.

Anyway, he's brilliant, if only because he reminds me of a young Gubler.
