And you should really like the current season. It's mostly about Josh, assisted by Janeane Garofalo, running Jimmy Smitts for president against Hawkeye (Alan Alda) the republican.

Have you seen all the past seasons?

Yeah, I miss Sam but he didn't want to get locked into the character. I can't imagine it without Martin Sheen. He's so smart. Wait until you get to the radio smack down where the president eviscerates a Dr. Laura type and the debates in season 4 when he does the verbal equivalent of a WWE smack down on a thinly veiled Bush candidate.

And though Donna appears to be leaving too this season, she does have a brief affair with Jason Issacs who plays an Irish photojournalist. Yay for Donna, sad for Josh.
