(no subject)
I've decided since there are no recent posts whatsoever on my friends page that I may as well step up and update my own journal! yay!!!
Kurtis and I had our 2 year anniversary date last week and it was awesome :) We went on a dinner cruise and saw the sunset over the ocean and the green flash, and all the lights of Waikiki from the ocean. Overall it was quite nice. And eating the lobster was hilarious, because they gave us the whole thing and we had to figure out how to eat it.
I've had my new job for a month and it's not too bad. I mean, I don't particularly like it, but I have insurance and stuff now, so that's good. I'm biding my time because I can't decide what to do next career-wise. What direction do I want to go? Preparation for a corporate career? Consulting? Government? Or do I want to shoot for NASA, or academia? The travels of fresh water in the earth, or the geology of other planets? Or Neutrino geophysics, which could help bridge the gap between geologists and physicists! I dunno.
