I like that I get to click the word "post" while I am sitting in the "POST" building. Though I should be working. (POST stands for Pacific Ocean Science and Technology. It's the best building on campus.) So anyway, my life this week has been work work work work work GET DRUNK (friend's birthday ;) work. And I may or may not try and attempt surfing this afternoon, we'll see. It gets dark pretty early here, and I'm not sure what time I'll get to leave school. Alas, I should be working right now. Presentation of doom next saturday, and another one on different material on the following Monday. But then, Thanksgiving break will be an earned break before Kurtis goes to Japan for a couple weeks and I STUDY FOR FINALS. And write final essay for internship. And oh crap, I have to write a new proposal to continue my grant next semester. sigh. But in 1.5 weeks I'll be in less crap, and then, mid December, PUERTO RICO!!!
David, this paragraph is for you. Guess what I'm presenting on for presentation 1?! VOLCANOES ON MARS. RECENT VOLCANISM, i.e. as recently as the past 10 million years. yup yup. Thought you might find that interesting. Second Presentation- Neutrino Geophysics. How we can use these tiny particles that interact via the weak force to study inside our earth, in ways that we never dreamed of before. Better than seismic waves. Also has the capability of detecting nuclear power. worthwhile to study, because if we can develop proper technologies, we can find out who in the word is developing nuclear weapons. like politics or not, its important we dont all explode before we find out what's really in the universe ;)
okay, i'm done :) OMG I missed our 13 month anniversary ;) I love you Kurty!
