Fun at Indy Wrestling (aka a Marek Brave appreciation post)
My husband and I made the 45 minute drive to Walcott on Saturday night to see Scott County Wrestling featuring Marek Brave and Shane Hollister. It was held in a banquet room attached to a bar. Overall it was much nicer than what I was expecting. I took some pics and managed to get Marek's autograph otherwise I was too shy to speak. My husband won $30 in the 50/50 raffle too which covered the gas money to drive out there so he was happy.
My husband's favorite wrestler of the night who came out to the song "What does the fox say".
I can't figure that tattoo out.
Marek spent a lot of time during the battle royal hanging out in the corner in front of me.
The guy in front of us looked really out of place in his red sweater and collared shirt underneath. Unfortunately, I didn't get a pic of the guy sitting next to my husband. He was wearing a denim vest and sucked his fingers clean after every bite of cheesy popcorn.
This wrestler legit got hurt so the other wrestlers gingerly tossed him over the top rope, but he managed to walk to the back okay.
Shane Hollister and Matt Cage
I'm not a big fan of battle royals, but this was a lot of fun up close and in person. It was hard to keep track of all the action.
Between the ball grabbing (pic 9), him grabbing other wrestlers by the hips and backing them up into him (which he did at least five times, pic 14), the bronco buster (which he did twice, pic 15) and yelling out to the crowd "That our penises are very strong" I'm not sure if Marek Brave has left his Cyberfight days completely behind.
Marek was super sweet-thanking us for coming out and buying his shirt- and deliciously sweaty in this pic with me :)
