I don't have much to say about the latest round of fandom racefail, not least because I am only now tuning in long enough to hear about it. Suffice it to say, thoughtlessness and unconsidered privilege can give rise to epically ridiculous choices. (How on earth can someone write a story that long and not once have noticed what appears to be spectacular levels of fail?)
However,
glockgal responds by illustrating an AU brown-skinned Sam & Dean encountering Arizona (via
lamardeuse), which is full of win. "...they were therefore deported to Mexico. Two hours later Old Man Whatshisface died..."
Also, on someone's post somewhere in there, a link to The Racebending Revenge Ficathon. I'm very looking forward to reading the results.
