Just sat down to watch tv - turned it on to find a distinguished-looking woman with short silver hair doing standup. My brain went:
PBS? No... not standup.
Comedy Central? No way, woman - not to mention visibly white hair...
WTF? What the hell station is this?

Ohhh. Logo. Thaaaat makes sense.
All those thoughts went by so fast that I kind of had to do a mental double-take to realize that the only station that I could conceive of having extended shots of a woman walking around with her own microphone - even before I listened to her content was PBS.
And as soon as I saw enough to know it was standup, I knew it wasn't PBS.
And after that, I couldn't think of any other station that would be showing a mature woman talking at length, even one as chic and hot-looking as this one.
That's pretty pathetic. I have 200+ channels. And although I had noted the gender differences in standup before, I never really thought of standup as a such a powerful presentation of self. But Oxygen, Lifetime? No way would they show a woman in a position as "powerful" as this.
Yay lesbians.
