ME AT WORK, "It's not a matter of right, it is a matter that you are assuming things that you have no idea about"

So here is the issue... was watching some tele at work and the story was about a boy (who by the way is a big o geek) made a fan page on facebook called, "I Hate Big Daddy B", which is about a teacher at school. More than a few fellow students joined.
This was a page for him to Vent out his frustrations with his teacher, along with the other students. Nonetheless, he got suspended.
So I made a sly comment that the kid could say whatever he wants about the teacher and if he hates him so be it.
She goes that is wrong. All that does is fuel hatred and kids who start things like that are going to get trench coats and guns and start shooting people.
WHAT?
I told her how can you assume that these kids are going to shoot people. You don't even know them.
Her explanations is that, issues like that fuel hatred and people who hate are killers!
WHAT?
I told her that was an unfair accusation that assuming that will happen. I also told her I hate a lot of people, am i going to kill someone.
Her answer, is that it is possible? I told her, i am not an idiot to take someone else's life into my own hands, that I know what is right and wrong, that venting out is a way to control whatever issues you have. It makes a person feel good. She does not believe this.
But then again this is also a person who believes that all gay people will go to hell because of our lifestyle. So she has already judged me twice.. so for her, no matter what I do, I am a bad person in another level.
The argument went back and forth me trying to explain to her that she can not assume what other folks will do.
Not that I agree with the kid who started the page, but to the point out that you are comparing a group of kids to the kids of the "trench coat mafia" is something that is a bit far fetched and the fact she is clumping people into a category if they hate something that they are going to kill people. She is just assuming that will happen. I certainly do not agree with that at all... is it possible? YES! Will it happen? Who knows! Though I certainly am not going to assume that they are or aren't...the fact still remains the kid could say whatever he wants about someone if it is his opinion.
