i've been reading about the iPhone and tho a lot of people who like the phone also has 50 million complaints about the phone inabilities to function they way they want and tho' most jailbreaks of the phone is really about software and not hardware, it makes me wonder as to why the iPhone is still a good phone if all you have is complaints.
if a company is limiting its apps (google voice seems to be the big one) or not using the "potential" phone abilities then i feel then iPhone users are being ripped off in many ways.
You pay this RIDICULOUS amount for the phone and still basically have the same phone from the original with just a little tweaking here and there but nothing drastic and you are still willing to pay the 400+ dollars for the right to say you have a "cool" phone.
i have a G1 Google phone and all the complaints i have is people who love iPhone telling me my phone sucks, but yet my phone is just as good as the iPhone...no complaints on my end.

Customer Service (C/S)
....nuff said.. AT&T only cares about AT&T, i have heard terrible C/S on their end or lack their of as well. they are rude mean and obnoxious... T-mobile, Verizon and US Cellular bends over backwards for you.. what ever happened to a happy customer is a loyal customer....one of the reason why i stayed with t-mobile
* Lack of battery power..
......most seem to have this issue, they want to be able to switch batteries out. my phone last about 8 hours with me being on the net for 8 hours and yet i still have enough life left to make a 3 hour call to antartica
* Apps store
...... Vendors fix a bug and then have to submit to Apple and wait and wait for the fix to show up on customers phones. Vendors spend $$ to develop apps only to have Apple reject them. Apple acts on a whim to decide what to approve or not. Let the market decide if the Apple app is better that the 3rd party app or not. It is a big enough market for both to play, anyway, I have tons of apps on my phone and their is a very leniet approval process for the G1 and most just the same as the iPhone...ok some are crap.. but we have that choice to download that crap to begin with.

.....this one was shocker for me since iTunes is an apple thang, and all you apple lovers should love it right?, but apparently not...G1 has amazon and other ways of music... so this is just weird

.....the ability to multitask... i know the pros and cons but most people would prefer the con just so they can multitask
* Face forward camera..
.....this one seems to be a big pisser off.... since video phone has to be dealt with in an awkward manner..
Flash
.....or lack their of, for web and for the camera phone, but i hear they are trying to phase it out of safari.
ICONS
.....the ability to delete/remove standard apps like Weather or Stocks and to hide icons that are not used on the screen. This seems kind of odd...that would just mean you will be flipping through endless apps until you reach the one you want. G1's ability to hide theirs from the main screen is nice, plus i can add folders, ...
Better phone coverage
.... i know here in the states AT&T sucks cock twat ass and this also seems to be another big issue with iPhone users (cant speak for everywhere else) most want to see Verizon have the iPhone or just have it unlocked with all frequencies for everyone can use it...it seems a lot bad coverage and a lot of drop calls. i never really have that problem of dropped calls unless it was the other person.. who is usually an AT&T customer or.. my goodness... CRICKET.. what the fuck is that about... well thats another story

..... this is half and half.. most love the touch and most hate it who has the iPhone, so why not have 2 iPhones... one only touch qwerty and one that has a full qwerty...this is one of the main reason i have the G1. fat fingers make for bad type on touch..
No MMS

BUT REMIND ME WHY THIS PHONE IS GREAT TO HAVE WHEN ALL I HEAR IS COMPLAINTS...stop your bitching already.. you look cool having an APPLE iPHONE
