Things done:
- complete VISA application form
- have transcripts sent to St. Andrews
- receive confirmation of student status
- do inventory of clothes to take
- get federal financial aid
- buy plane ticket
- arrange to be in UK during orientation week
- get new winter coat
Things to be done:
- buy clothing items needed after inventory (underware, 2 pairs of corderoy pants, non-pull over shirts)
- mail in VISA application form with requisit paperwork and passport
- get boxes for moving
- pack said boxes
- prune my library down to 200 books
- pack giant suitcases
- repair brown boots (side stiching is coming undone; also needs waterproofing)
- arrange for pick-up from Edinburgh Airport
- fix iPod
- purchase/make curtains (because they are cheaper stateside)
- finish oil painting
- return all US library books and pay any fines
- close excess bank accounts
- re-activate ING account and find a UK branch
- throw out stuff I no longer use/won't be using
- sell old coats on eBay
T-minus 30 days and counting....
EDIT: currently at work getting the requisit number of boxes and throwing out stuff that i just don't need. will be kicking into high gear once i get back from visiting my granparents next week.
