Blah. I just wanted to mention that even though I very seldom post anymore I still read this. Even though everyone is all about facebook these days, the purpose of this is entirely different I still has a place.

With that said, I will continue to lurk and only offer the occational token post :P

By way of Kat:

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LJ along with your seven songs.

Alexisonfire - This Could Be Anywhere in the World

This tune just rocks hard. I don't listen to the radio but if I did I would crank it any time this song came on.

Motorhead - Ace of Spades

A brilliant excercise in machismo and a great tune to get oneself pumped up.

Lit - My Own Worst Enemy

This song is totally infantile and simplistic and on paper should suck terribly... but some some reason I can never get enough of it. It also seems to defy genre catagorization in my mind as its more SoCal punk than anything else but its really not very punk at all.

Jesu - Friends Are Evil

This whole album is wicked but this is the song that gets stuck in my head. I think my housemate best described Jesu as 'doomgaze' as they are pretty much a crossbreed of doom metal and shoegaze. They are playing in Ottawa with Isis which should be wicked. They'll probably be down Toronto way as well so keep an eye out for that.

The I - I'm Ok (acoustic demo)

I was very disappointed to see that this version of the song was taken down from their myspace. Smooth Issac vocals with Shane guitar = goodness.

Bananas/Sugar Bohemia - Cream Soda

Its a shame that the Sugars are on hold. That band had crazy potential. I wish I had recordings of their other songs but I keep listening to this one because its awesome and actually availible.

Justin Timberlake - My Love

Yeah yeah. It seems every artist I hate has one song that I like. One day I'll have revenge and made a heavy rock version of this song. It is set up perfectly for it... you'll see... if I ever become un-lazy.
