We still have the festival, though it's more of a matter of tradition at this point - Theramore is in a much wetter climate than Lordaeron or even Kul Tiras, and while we do have some farmland, we get most of our food through fishing or through trade.

I suppose continuing the festival makes those who live there feel more like they're back in their homes.

Its difficult to compare many lands to Lordaeron in terms of climate.

Elwynn and Stormwind were quite lovely in the spring.
