Change
Hello livejournal! Gosh, how I miss posting here on LJ. I still check LJ every day, despite not posting much. I guess I just don't have stuff to write down that I believe is interesting enough!
Well, a lot has been happening in my life lately. I finally have interesting things to blog about!
School has been going great. This is my last semester at my community college then I will be heading to SVA for continuing education classes. I decided on doing continuing education classes instead of enrolling in the college because of the cost and the fact that I can't go to school full time. I pay for school entirely on my own so I couldn't afford 40K a year. Continuing Ed. classes allow me to take the classes that I am interested in and at a fraction of the price because I am not going for a degree. I'll be starting at SVA in the Summer time if everything goes according to plan.
I also very recently made a change at my job, as well. Starting in a couple of weeks, I will be a professional bather in the grooming salon at my job. I start my training this Friday and I couldn't be happier. I'm really excited to change my routine up and to not have to work with as many customers. I will be learning how to properly bathe dogs of all sizes, nail grindings, booking appointments, and brushing. It's going to be a little slow since I may not be able to get in some training next week (due to some scheduling errors with the salon) but I should be fully trained within a month or so. I love learning new things and I love that I can use what I learn in this position for my own dogs as well. c:
It's going to be a really busy year for me but I'm really looking forward to growing and learning. :)
