And for many of my other friends: Happy Hanukkah, Blessed Solstice, Happy Yule, Happy Holidays, enjoy Festivus, and/or any other traditions you embrace.
I'm thinking instead of pointing to everyone else's reason for being happy at this time year and carping that it isn't the same as ours, how's about we all agree to be just be happy for one-another. Regardless of why you celebrate, it can be a time for joy, good will toward our fellow human beings, and a spring-board to making the coming year a better one.
I'm just sayin'. :)
